Hey guys, new to the forums here and I got a question for you Astroflex gurus. My unit works great but it has the most annoying full second horn confirmation for locking the vehicle. Is there a way to change this to just a chirp? If not can I disable the horn confirmation completely?

Oh and I bought the vehicle this way.. I looked under the dash and found the module and read through the manual for the 123 model which should be pretty close to the 120 but from what I saw in it, it showed that there shouldnt be a horn confirmation from lock or unlock.

Sounds like they used the lock output to also relay trigger the horn. You can add a resistor to the horn relay feed from the lock to try and shorten the honk. Not sure of the resistence though, if you have a POT laying aroung you can use it to dial in the resistence and when you get it to where you want remove and measure the POT for you fixed resistence, kinda trial and error to find the right resistence. Some may also say use a small capacitor across the 85, 85 on the horn relay to absorb some of the voltage.
