i have a viper 3002 and im installing it on 01 mazda tribute and after i get this done i will install excaliber rs-130-dp and a 556uw by pass my questions for the viper alarm are lightGREEN/ black says it goes to neg factory disarm output do i run this wire directly to that factory disarm wire? next question is on the viper unit it has a neg second unlock do i use this wire? on the orginal keyless entry i have to hit unlock 2x to unlock passenger door. the third question is the unlock/lock door harness i know i use a 1000k resistor but a diagram would help alot. and for the remote start what wire on the viper unit do i use to activate it? thanks for any help it is greatly appreciated.

Yes

If you want to maintain the Drivers Priorty Unlock then yes. wes5314 wrote:

Audiovox
Doorlocks/Windows
WIRE COLOR POLARITY LOCATION
Power Unlock ORANGE / BLACK (-) DRIVERS KICK PANEL DOUBLE PUSLE FOR UNLOCK
MUST USE A RESISTOR FOR INTEGRATION
PowerLock YELLOW/RED (-) DRIVERS KICK PANEL, 1K OHM RESISTOR.
USE A 1KOHM RESISTOR
Directwire
Power Lock pink/white - DKP or 26 pin plug @ GEM
Notes: Lock requires a negative trigger thru a 1,000 ohm resistor. Unlock is a negative trigger. Must use relay on both.
The GEM (generic electronic module) is behind the center console on the floor. Pull off the black panel to the right of the gas pedal, there will be carpet covering it. The plugs face the driver side of the vehicle.
Power Unlock same wire
Or a 451M for the interface.

WHITE/ Blue Wire - Remote Start Activation (-) Input to the channel output on the viper you want to use to activate the remote start.

And here's the how to diagram including colour codes you will need a 4 or 5* pin relay Bosch/Tycho and a 1N4004 diode on the second unlock wire to 85 on the relay:- mazda_priority_unlock.bmp
* If 5 pin (more readily available), just ignore pin 87a. ------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.

Sorry corrected myself.
Standard relay wiring is 85 ground, 86 positive, 30&87a NC, 87 NO

Actually it's supposed to be light blue second lock output.

I stand corrected howie. As I stated, never used the stand alone alarms with internal relays.
But as the OP stated he dosen't have a light blue 2nd unlock so he can't have a 3002 can he? Or are there two date code revisions for the 3002?

ok now the excalibur rs-130-dp
it says orange wire status/anti grind says can be connected to activate bypass module connect to modules activation input. only wires i have on the dei 556u is blue remote negative output and pink vehicles true ignition output which i dont have hooked up both are output not inputs
then on the excaliber it has BLACK/ white wire that say nuetral safety switch input connect to neutral safety switch that shows ground when in park or neutral i looked at wire diagrams and dont see this one
then yellow alarm ignition control + ouput it says connect directly to the outboard keyless entry alarm igniton input ,im assuming this goes to the viper alarm but dunno what wire
i appreciate the help u guys are giving thanks

If the vehicle can't be started with the key while the vehicle is in gear then you only need to connect RS BLACK/ White to ground.

This is to be hooked to the ignition input on the viper instead of the viper being hooked direct to the Vehicle Ignition and will pass the Ignition to the Viper when the romote start is not active.

k i got it all wire up but this bypass has got me bamboozled key sense wire is BLACK/ pink at ignition found it but on the bypass im using the method it says will not work on euro cars step 4 says cut bypass antenna ring off which i did next step transponder ring says split open factory transponder ring and cut one of the 2 wires in half well.... at transponder near key i have 4 wires and none of those are the keysense wire its on the other side so im lost at this point it and this is all that is left

That's because it ISN'T a European car, read the install guide again, probably method 1.

How may pluses is the RS set too? If two then you will need 2 channel 3 pluses IE channel 3 (2 times) to activate RS.

You're getting ahead of youself, Remote start will run if the bypass you chose is not working vehicle just won't run or stay running if there is a bypass problem.

Dei products myself, as I'm on the learning curve with the new bypass modules my self. It a little more work to figure out the other brands but I get it done.
