Hi im interested in purchasing the DSM100/VSM100 smartstart module and was wondering if it is compatible with a android phone.

Ok kool cause I was reading it was for the iphone and blackberry. But coulnt find if it was compatible with android phones. Whats the difference between the dsm100 and the dsm200? And would the dsm100 be compatible my brain? I have a viper 5904.

Yes it will work with your 5904 Viper.
The VSM100 is ESP port only and was replaced by the VSM200 which is ESP & D2D compatiable to work with the newer bypasses for stand alone remote start.
The software app has been updated to work with you phone.
