Just installed a remote start in the murano and now i cant get it past 40 mph, is there any fuses that would cause this?  full power from 0-40 but after that it just stays the same.

Had a problem like this in the bay once, turned out whilst one of the guys fished the siren wire in he pinched a speed sensor wire, same issue you're having arose, we had to get into the boot at the firewall to realize wat went wrong, just some info, it may or may not help you.

Did you test and verify EVERY wire before making the connections? Did you manually make your lock, unlock, etc. connections or use a data module?

Yes I tested everything the only thing i messed up was i had a saftey wire connected to the parking brake, I pressed then depressed the parking brake then my brake light stayed on in the dash even though I had depressed the brake. the next time I started the murano  the light was off but I still cant go over 40. I press the parking brake now and the brake warnig shows up I depress the brake and the brake warning goes away like it should.?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 5-10 minutes to clear it out... the car might be in some sort of limp mode for some reason. Otherwise you may just need to start looking through all of your wiring and seeing if something got pinched.

No DTC lights on the instrument panel?
No sensor plugs knocked off?

Before you spend too much time searching, try disconnecting the battery. Make sure to leave it disconnected for at least 10 min to fully discharge the system in order to reset everything.

After doing the battery disconnect, if that doesn't work and you can't see any cut or shorted wires then you need to put some diagnostic equipment to the vehicle.

Verify, with a volt meter, that you don't have voltage on the brake wire. Nissans have an interesting safety feature that prevents the throttle body opening past a certain point if the ECU thinks the brake is being pushed.

One quick, simple test may be to get the car going 30mph and try to turn cruise control on. If the ECU thinks the brake is pushed I don't think you'll be able to turn the cruise on.

Also would be a good idea to make sure your brake lights are working.

If i unplug the xpresskit d ball everything works fine. I'll double check the brake voltage thanks.

What did you have to connect from the DBALL to the vehicle?

i think the question he meant to ask was what wires are connected from the DB ALL to the vehicle. it sounds like maybe the bypass was incorrectly wired to the vehicle. usually on nissans, the bypass makes you cut certain wires at the BCM of the car and if you cut the wrong wire it will cause problems. it can also be easy to mix up the wires from the bypass because some of the colors are can look similar.

Exactly... I don't have the install guide for that vehicle so I'm trying to see what connections from the DBALL you made to the vehicle wiring.

sounds like you have some serious wiring issues going on. are you sure you followed the wiring diagram AND tested the wires to verify they are the right ones? wiring diagrams can be wrong on occasion. these new style bypasses have a lot more control over factory systems than they used to have so it makes it so much more important to test and make sure you keep the wires straight and organized. also is the DB-ALL connected using D2D method or did you use W2W?

im downloading the manual right now so ill take a look at what it says, but on a side note, i cant believe they have a space next to the download button that takes you to facebook so you can LIKE the firmware. simply shameless

At this point, if I were you, I would remove everything from the vehicle and make sure everything returns to factory operation. I would think consult a local professional about the installation.

wire to wire Tested everything except for the hscan  high and low I dont know how to test that, Kevin everything works fine when unpluged. It can't be to major of a deal or nothing would work. Alarm works remote start works. brake lights just stays on as soon as step on the brake pedal.

Don't try to test them you won't get a reading without a scope.
Change the module, either flashed wrong, faulty or incorrectly programmed.

If you press and release the brake pedal the lights still stay on? Or am I reading that wrong?

My concern is that it may actually be a big deal. You have compromised a safety circuit in the vehicle (brake circuit). Something could be wired incorrectly or as Howie mentioned it could be a problem with the module. If you end up damaging the vehicles ECU or getting in to an accident because the remote start isn't working properly I have a feeling you'll regret not paying to have it installed by a shop that has the training and tools to diagnose and fix your problem. This, by no means, is a "typical" remote start installation issue. In fact, I've never heard of anyone having this problem in 15+ years working with alarms and remote starts with much of my experience focused on Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.

Kenny that is correct I press the brake and the brake lights stay on when the dball is plugged in. I unplug  the dball and the alarm part works fine car works fine I dont know, I will exchange it for a new one tomorrow.

I'm in 100% agreement with Kevin here, talk about accident waiting to happen.
I believe this install requires some wiring to the foot brake circuit.
So it's either a faulty module or an install mistake.
If when you swap out the module it's still there, follow Kevin's advice about professional installation because you've made a serious and dangerous wiring error.
If you've done one, could you have done more?
Do me a favour please with a hail Mary and check ALL of your vehicle fuses via a DMM.
Could you have got the CAN Hi and Lo the wrong way round?

Does anyon have the lcoation for the cam high and com low I just bought a flash logic bypass because a installer said it was better and not as many problems as the expresskit but there wireing diagram has a different location for the 2 wires.

The expresskit has them on the white 40 pin bcm as can high blue pin 22 and can low as yellow pin 21 and security GREEN/ orange pin 38 does this sound correct?

Did you get the flashlogic module flashed? If not you are wasting your time. The diagram for the flashlogic should be installed as it shows. You should not deviate from it. Make sure you have it wired as it shows. Sometimes the flashlogic bypass will do more with less connections and if you have other wires hooked up you could cause even more issues. Either module should work fine.

those sound like the correct connections. the CAN wires are usually pretty easy to spot because many, but not all, the times they are twisted together and are usually next to each other in what ever plug you find them in. as it even says they should be in pin 21 and 22.

you need to make sure the flashlogic has been updated with the correct firmware for your murano and that will also give you the link to the proper installation instructions although i dont see why they would be any different from the xpresskit. i use flashlogic almost exclusively and they are great bypasses.

even though the connections should be the same, and considering the problems you are having, i would be sure to rip out anything to do with the old bypass and start fresh. dont reuse any old wires or connectors.i dont know how the bypass was originally connected but i would definitely solder the connections. the wires you have to connect to have control over the cars computer system so you definitely want the best possible connection you can get. a bad connection on the CAN wires can have horrible consequences. i would use butt connectors as a last resort if you cant solder them, and T-taps are just out of the question.
