I am getting ready to install a head unit with a backup cam input for my parents.  I have done a couple and am pretty happy with them but they haven't had the guide marks/lines that you see on some OEM systems that tell you where the car is getting close to an object.  I see some aftermarket cams like one Pioneer that claim to have "park assist" and adjustable guidelines but have never seen one in action.  All I have seen is the one line advert blurb.  Does this Pioneer or any other aftermarket cam have a decent "park assist" function?

Alpine.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

The Crimestopper camera has lines built in. You can cut a loop to remove them if you want.
