Greetings,
I have a ProStart ( same as Astrostart and Viper) 4 button Remote Starter. This unit has the D2D port and is connected to the DBall. I flashed the DBall (twice) to GM2 and it was successful. The only wire hook ups I have are the Orange for the OBDII port. It is connected (soldered) and a continuity test shows good between the data port purple and the DBall Orange.

I can't get the LED to turn green...
As I understand it, I should...
Hook up all harnesses except the data cable
Hold the programming button and plug in the data cable
Wait until the LED is amber
Release the button
LED turns Red
Start the car
Wait for Green LED
The LED never changes... Stays solid red forever...

I have an OBDII Scan tool and the data port works and the continuity to the Dball is fine...

Any advice on this?

Thanks,
Steve

I noticed you said the orange wire from the DBALL is going to the OBD II violet wire. I don't see an orange wire on the install manual?? There is a violet / YELLOW wire on the blue harness pin-2 that is supposed to go to the violet wire pin-2 of the car's OBD II connector.
