1998 camry with viper 150 esp worked great till now , the car will make three attempts at starting each time almost running then shuts down, any ideas

Sounds like a tach issue. Is the violet/white wire connected and where?

If you start the car with the key and press the remote start button for pit stop mode, can you remove the key and the engine stays running?

Tach, OR cranking time needs to be extended, OR car battery needs replacing.
If it was tach it would run for up to 15 seconds.

I remember an issue with a Camry where the tach was programmed wrong on a Hornet remote starter. It was going into over-rev protection since the initial RPMs would hit over 2500 at start. It would start and almost immediately shut off.

I corrected that by re-learning tach at 1000 RPMs. Never had that issue again.

Car now starts, it waste tack wire ,it went to the ignition coil and spliced in , bad connection, thanks for helping
