I have the clifford matrix 10 alarm and I was wondering if i could add remote start to it. I have a valet 561r remote starter . casn I add that to my matrix 10 ?

You can add the 561 to your current Matrix setup. The 561R has a WHITE/ blue activation wire that you would connect to an Aux output from the Matrix alarm.

Once everything is installed and ready, you would just press the Aux button from the Matrix and the remote starter will activate. No need to install the antenna from the 561 since you will use the activation wire to start it. Depending on the vehicle, you may also need a data module for the antitheft technology.
