Has anyone ever tested to see the difference in battery current draw (in m-Amps) between the following scenerios....?

1. Viper with just vibration sensor

2. Viper with vibration & 506T (glass break)

3. Viper with vibration, 506T, & 507M (tilt)

4. Viper with vibration, 506T, 507M, & 620V (EL display)

5. Viper with vibration, 506&, 507M, 620V and 508D (RF)

I am most interested in the added draw from the 508D. This is popular, and likely the biggest battery consumer of all.  I think a viper with only vibration could be parked for a few weeks without worry, but I dont believe this would be the case for  (5).

Theoretically the draw is milliamps.
I'd worry more about the LED.

That's right. And if a car/truck electrical system draws more than 150 milliamps (while parked) it is considered to be a problem.

I'll test a 508d today and find the draw.
The AVERAGE alarm-R/S draw is about 40 milliamps of which about 20 is the LED.

5904 + 508d + 3 x LEDs complete drain from a 70 AH 680CCA charged battery in 5 weeks.

Hello,
Can't creat new topic so replay here.
I have viper 5704 and would like to find arm and disarm input wires.
Is this even possible?
Thank you

No, if I understand your question arm and disarm via FOB, no external hardwire on off.

Try Viper Smartkey, plug and play and no destroying of modules with attendant warrantee problems.
