trying to get the lock and unlock wires for 2008 hummer h3, from what i gather, the light blue and dark blue wires are the triggers, gray and tan for the motor wires.

correct me if i am wrong. i have to cut the trigger wires (both the light blue and dark blue) and connect the relays as shown ( Relay Diagrams - Door Locks - 5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive ) to isolate the motor and the switch sides. now, what about the motor wires (gray and tan)? do i still have to use them? where did you pull the wires from (the driver's kick o from the bcm side)? how did you wired yours? any feedback would be appreciated.

Not sure exactly what you are trying to do or what you are installing but the H3 is a basic Type B (-) door lock system.
Info from Ready Remote :
Power Lock       Light Blue  (-) @  driver kick, door harness or BCM, black 56 pin plug, pin A11
Power Unlock    White (double pulse)  (-)        @ driver kick, door harness or BCM, black 56 pin plug, pin A12
Info from Bulldog Security :
POWER LOCK           LIGHT BLUE (TYPE B)        in EITHER KICK PANEL, @ DOOR HARNESS
POWER UNLOCK      DARK BLUE (TYPE B)        in EITHER KICK PANEL, @ DOOR HARNESS
Info from Audiovox :
Power Unlock  DARK BLUE  (-)  IN HARNESS IN DRIVER KICKPANEL
PowerLock      LIGHT BLUE  (-)  IN HARNESS IN DRIVER KICKPANEL

Door trigger wires are for monitoring the door open / closed position.

@kreg357

sorry for the confusion there regarding the trigger wires. what i meant was the power lock and unlock wires.

i have installed a scytek visionguard 8000. the problem i am having is to have the door lock and unlock using the scytek vg8000 remote.

do i just connect the (-) door lock and unlock output from the vg8000 to the power lock and power unlock wires from the vehicle? if this is the only thing i got to tap, it would be great!

if i chose to use light and dark blue wires? what about the gray and tan motor wires do you still need to work on these wires? this wires actually made me confused.

thanks,
rovvie

I can't find an install guide for your system but..
If you have the standard, common, (-) 200 mA Lock and Unlock outputs, you can connect them directly to
the wires indicated above.  You should locate, test and verify the vehicles wires first.  There is no need to
go directly to the lock motors.
