2001 nissan pathfinder door ajar light on which won't allow me to arm xro9100 and protect door circuits . My factory alarm also doesn't protect doors . I've tested switches fine. Rear wires for door and hatch are supposed to go to ground . When all doors are closed no voltage present . Please help I'm starting to think its a faulty secu

Try a reset by pulling the neg battery terminal for al least 10 min. or more to see if the security will reset.

I tried that and still nothing. I was running out of ideas so i took it to the dealer regrettingly. They charged me and told me it was the rear hatch. Since then i metered the the hatch and noticed it goes to ground when opened so i disagree. it never recieves 5 volts when door is any position.

The rear doors and hatch are red with black. Everything worked fine until my rear hatch wasnt shut all the way and for 2 hours my alarms went off. since then there is no voltage to red with black wires opened or closed. Ive checked continuity all back to secu and its fine
