do you have to use a universal transponder box or will a 555f work to bypass the factory transponder in this vehicle? does anyone have any helpful hints/tricks on a remote start/keyless install???

you can use the 555s to bypass the chip in the key other then that its a pretty easy car

555F does not work on the 2003 Escape's. You will need to use the universal module for this installation. Not a big deal, just loose a key.
