Guys... Here's the noob with some trouble.
I have a pathfinder with an already installed turbo timer. I just bought a Viper 5904, which as per many in the forum, has an integrated turbo timer.
The question is... Does it really have a turbo timer or do I make it work with my current turbo timer?
If it does really have a turbo timer, should I remove the turbo timer I have installed then? Or can I make it work with it?
Thank you so much in advance!

The Vipers turbo mode is sometimes refered to as a Pit Stop Mode. It alows the remote start to run for up to 10 min so you can make a quick stop at a store and keep the car running. It is pretty much a 10 min remote start run time. Usually press the F button twice and then the start button, wait a few seconds, turn the key to off anf remove, the car should remain running.

So I just need to eliminate the installed turbo timer then install the viper. Right?

I would think you could install the viper and use it. Your call as to removing the other device. I was just explaining what the turbo timer/pit stop feature was on the 5904. ------------- When all else fails, Read the Instructions

The turbo timer should be automatic. the viper you will actually have to push a button to make it work. Does that make sense? What every you feel more confortable with is what you should use.

Unusual to see turbo timers in modern vehicles, they tended to disappear with the advent of better turbo cooling (coolant or oil) or electric coolant and oil pumps, and better oils.
Competitive sports and attitudes may still require them however.

Guys, I got my viper 5904 working like a charm on my 2006 diesel pathfinder; remote start, windows, oem alarm... everything working perfectly. However, I am having one little difficulty.... the turbo timer doesn't work! I have programmed the viper to keep the vehicle on for 1 minute but still doesn't work. Please enlight me!
Thanks!!!!!

Just a guess but would this be a Japanese spec. grey import to the UK or Australia?
Anyway throw away the aftermarket turbo timer and use this circuit with any spare aux output, the one I used is an example.

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
