Hi, I just bought a RR 24921 and installed it myself on a 99 mazda 626 stick. All thats working is the car finder (parking lights flash 5 times) no led flashes on the unit. I have both fused red wires going to both black wires off the ignition switch that has constant 12v. Pink wire to the BLACK/ white primary ign (found thes wires from RR website), the pink/white to BLACK/ red sec ign, orange wire to blue acc, purple starter wire to green wire after my clutch switch (as to bypass the clutch switch, car is always kept in neutral). I have the hood switch disconnected, brake switch wire tried connected and disconnected and neutral safety switch tried grounded and disconnected. Still no led and parking lights only flash 5 times when holding the button. Did I screw up this install or do I have a bad unit?

It will be hard to help you because technically this remote starter states -
CAUTION! This product is designed for fuel-injected, automatic transmission vehicles only. Installing it in a
standard transmission vehicle is dangerous and is contrary to its intended use.
You should really have a remote starter that is meant for a manual transmission vehicle to prevent any issues in the future.
That may not be the reason for it not working but many don't want to be responsible for helping you complete an install where you have no safeguards to prevent that vehicle from lurching forward because it was left in gear.
Regardless of how careful you are and always leave the tranny in neutral, there have been many cases where others borrow the car and don't know or forget to keep it out of gear and the remote starter still starts the car and hurts someone or their property.

I have a DEI Directed 689M Neutral Safety Module installed as well. I just ran the start wire to the back side of the clutch switch and took out the module for testing reasons. If I have 12v at both the 12v inputs and a good ground, I should have some feedback from the led, correct?

That unit is the same as the Avital 4103 (with a few less features) and I believe the LED only comes on when the lock command is sent and during programming.
