have a 06 Ford Focus with a Viper 4103 and KIB bypass. I have seen in other post that in very cold weather the KIB sometimes will not let the vehicle start by the remote starter. This has happened to this car once when it was minus 20 out. Was wondering if the box was wrapped in foam and sealed real well if that would make a difference. Has anyone tried this????Thanks in advance...

Worth trying.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Think I would replace the KIB with a Directed 1100F ( $15 ) data style bypass module, give the customer back his key, and call it a day.  posted_image
