the vehicle is a 2001 dodge ram 2500 diesel. i installed my python 574 remote start system a few weeks ago. i read online that i needed to put a diode in the WTS light circuit for this option to work correctly. on original install i must have put the diode in backwards, because it would not start when the WTS light went out, so i switched the delay option setting to 15sec timer for the time being. the other day i got back under the hood and flipped the diode around, and now the vehicle will start with the delay option set to WTS mode, but it will not wait for the WTS light to go out. any ideas?

this is how i have it set up:posted_image

i don't see an edit button, forgive the add-on.

the instructions in the install guide say that the input wire and the stripe on the diode are to be pointing towards the ECM. now the wire that i tapped into is on the firewall, and i can't tell which direction the ECM is from the tap hence the confusion with the backwards diode originally.

thank you
