is the neutral safety wire built in to the starting circuit? every wire sheet for the 95 blazer i've seen doesn't list the neutral safety wire

also, there is a start kill switch from the fatory. you have to hold the driver side lock button and turn the key at the same time to start the vehicle. how do i bypass this?

Put the car in reverse and try to start it......what happens?

--If you can move the key to the Start position, and the engine doesn't start...then yes, neutral safety is built into the car...if your remote start tries to activate while the car is in gear, it won't start.

--If the key just jams when you try to turn it to the Start position, your car has ONLY a mechanical neutral safety built into the steering column.....the remote start could still start if the car was in gear........there are wire diagrams availalble to disable the remote start if a door is open, and a key has been left in the ignition. Any good quality remote starter should include this diagram in the manual, although I'll admit that no installer I know ever bothers with it.

And GM doesn't put in starter kills at the factory. It was probably installed by a previous owner, or at the car dealer.

When you take the dash apart, you'll notice that the thick yellow starter wire has been cut in half, and is wired to a relay. When installing your remote starter, be sure to connect its starter output to the "engine" side of the yellow wire that was cut in half...this way, the remote start will always work.
