HELLO TECHS IM ABOUT TO DO A REMOTE START ON THIS 2007 CHRYSLER 300 BUT IM KIND OF AFRAID CAUSE I HAVE EVER DONE THIS CAR BEFORE ,I HAVE A REMOTE START UNGO AND THE BYPASS IDATALINK ADS AL CA WITH FIRMMAWERE DL-CH5 JUST NEED TO KNOW IF I FOLOW THE IDATALINK TECH SHEET IT SHOULD BE OK ,ALSO ADS AL CA ITS ASKING TO USE ONE DIODE 1N4001, I DONT HAVE THAT ONE DO I GET 1N4004 ANY DIFERENCE? NEED SOME HELP ,SOME ADVICE PLEASE THANKS.

1N4004 is better. The higher the last number, the higher inverse voltage, thus 01 = 100 volts, 04 = 400 volts. I only use 1N4004s because I'm usually using them as relay quenchers where you have to handle up to 250 volts.

hello guys ,ok now i feel much better about the diode,other question that i have is if this is a easy car to do a R/S ,i really thank you guys if you guys could take a quick look on the idata link ads al ca and tell me i about the installation a little bit, also i got a question about the 12v be connected in 2 diferents places ,one on the key switch and the other on the battery thanks,hi kreg 357 , i don't receive anything from you, and i was think why you never reply me back ,but now i think it can be my anti virus block your emails ,nice to hear from you again you always been very friend for me help me out a lot thanks ,i will check my email .

Any car is easy they all have the same conecept. Follow the Diagram and Test twice connect once. Pretty simple car. You could always go with #6 install and get the T harness and remote kit and all you need is the ALDSCA
