I've installed a Viper 4704 on my 02 GMC sierra. I have the remote start working good now but Im still having issues with the bypass module. Currently I have the ignition bypassed with a resistor so that the remote start will work. All is good except the security warning always on.
I have an ADS-tb transponder bypass but I can not seem to get it to install. The diagram shows me connecting orange to #2 pin on the OBD port, pink to ign output, blue/wht to grn when running, and red and black to 12v and neg.
When I hook up the module I cannot get it to program I just keep getting a solid red light...

A few thoughts on the ADS TB bypass module...

First, make sure it has the ADS TB GM firmware flashed on it.  There should be a white sticker on the edge
of the box that lists the Firmware and Version that was flashed at the factory.  Of course this can be changed
by a re-flash to any other available firmware by anyone with the ADS USB cable and authorized access to the
iDatalink WEB site.

Second, when installing this bypass module, it is best to start with a Factory Reset, then do the Installation
Mode selection ( Standard W2W mode is 2 blinks ) and lock it in.  Then module programming with the ignition
key.  These steps are listed at the end of the install guide ( link below ).

thanks for the reply.
I was assuming they had the correct firmware flashed when they sold it to me. Maybe not...
The sticker shows

Ill reattempt to hook this up. I couldnt access the link you supplied (access denied) but prob the same as this one.

Thats the install guide I was using.

I have one more question about the factory security. If I lock the doors withn lock switch on the door then unlock it from remote it sets off the horn. If I lock it from the remote then unlock it with the key it sets off the alarm. Is this normal or do I have to hook up another wire to disable the alarm?

Thanks for all the assistance

Think that is the white sticker on the module.  The one with the Hardware and Firmware listings is on the edge of the
inner white box the module came in, by the flash connector access hole.

As for the alarm problem, here is some info on the alarm disarm wire :
Factory Alarm Disarm      Lt. Green (driver door key cylinder) (-)    @ BCM, purple plug, pin B3
Connect the Viper's H/4 GREEN/ BLACK (-) 200mA FACTORY ALARM DISARM OUTPUT to this wire.

Thanks Ill be hooking up that wire to stop setting off my alarm.

found the sticker on the box. sw = ADS-TB-TI 2 hw = ADS-TB (16)guide 1842

Looks like this is the bypass for a ford/lexus/toyota. This will probably explain why it wont work for me. I should be able to have this module reflashed, correct?
I never actually looked it up before. I just went with what the shop told me I need.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, the bypass module can be flashed with the correct Firmware and used.  You will need to go back to the seller to have this done.  It requires a special cable and dealer access to the iDatalink WEB site.
