Just curious if anyone here has added aftermarket power locks to a '10-'13 Ford Transit Connect?

The front doors are cable-actuated - I've already installed the aftermarket actuators and they're working fine.

Sliding doors and the rear split door are my problem. There are no lock rods or cables to attach to (both the interior lock knobs and the exterior key cylinders slide directly into the latch/lock assembly).

These guys have done this vehicle, and when I spoke to their installer he recalled using standard aftermarket actuators all around; however I can't figure out for the life of me where they made their mechanical connection.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm guessing they opened up the lock assembly and motored directly into it.
Try this:- https://wolfelec.co.uk/product/designcentloc.htm.

you can probably find a spot on the lock assembly to drill a small hole big enough to slip the rod of the aftermarket actuator through. it might take a little bit of hand testing before you find the right spot.

this is the same strategy im going to use to power my tailgate lock when i get around to doing it.

there is probably a cover you can tae off to expose the moving parts of the lock mechanism.

if you can post some pics of the lock cylinder in question then it should help get you a better answer.

Yes, that's what I was trying to explain, soundnsecurity said it better!
