Is there any difference between a 555 g and a 555gw?

I think they are the same. I don't normally use them but when you search the install guide for either one, it brings up the same install guide (555G) from the Directed store website.

Sometimes DEI renames their products with an extra letter to signify the specific brand name for that model.

Such as the Viper 4103V and Avital 4103L. One ends in V (for Viper) and the other in L (for Avital) but it's the same unit.
