Hi, I recently flashed my XPRESSKIT CANMAX400 from what I assume to be the original firmware (I think it said .05) to HONDA4 1.03 because I was having issues with the bypass intermittently working. It flashed successfully and I re-installed. It remote started right up, the module flashing green, but also the green immobilizer key in dash was flashing as well. I figured it would go away when I took over the car with the actual key, but it didn't. I can drive the vehicle with it flashing... doesn't sound right. When I start it up normally with the key, it doesn't stay on. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Vehicle: 2006 Honda Accord V6
Remote Start: Viper 5701 / CANMAX400
(I did not own the car when the RS was installed)

First id check the Ground While Running input. Connect it straight to ground then remote start vehicle. If green security light goes away then you GWR wire is NOT coming on before remote start unit. If light stil on dash check the two security light wire connection from bypass to key cylinder. If solid connection are made from all wires from bypass, unplug bypass and insert key into ignition and remote start if light goes off then hook up your keysense wire from remote stat.

do a reset and re program but defiently check all of the wiring. Sounds like you have one not hooked up correctly.

i have not used the canmax but have installed on quite a few of those accords.  I know most bypasses will have you do a security light cut that way the bypass can control that green key light.

Thanks so much for all of your replies. The XPRESSKIT folks said the same thing about the security wire between bypass and ignition. It sounds like it was never cut. But it's really strange that I never had it blink before I flashed the bypass module. In any case, flashing the bypass seems to have fixed my intermittent starting issue, and the car runs fine even with green key lighting up the dash. I plan on taking a look at the wiring soon. Thanks again!
