on directed products it is. black white is neutral safety switch which must be grounded to remote start. if you use the toggle switch it goes inline on this wire

If you could tell us what year, make, and model of vehicle.

Then list all of the wires from the clifford unit connected to what on the vehicle.

Are the connections soldered or some type of clamp/crimp?

What do you mean by a keyless entry installed previously?  Is this something you installed?

honda element 2003,  no the keyless entry  came installed , and you sent me the wiring  connections diagram ,

H3/2, 6, 9, and H1/2 to White 12 volt constant....H3/4 to car side of cut BLACK/ White starter wire, H3/5 to switch side of cut BLACK/ White.... H3/1 to BLACK / YELLOW...H3/3 to BLACK/ Red...

H3/7 to WHITE/ Red,( H3/7 need to be set as ACC2 in the brain of the clifford unit, Default is Ignition 2. Can be changed in Menu 3, Item 8, Option 2)

Test and verify the wires with a Digital Multi Meter BEFORE making your connections. Solder and tape connections. Do Not use T-Taps or scotch locks connectors

Time to recheck the ground on the H2/18, make sure the connector is in tight.  Check the toggle switch with a DMM for continunity and make sure it is plugged in tight.  Check the H2/18 for continunity also. Until you get that issue cleared it won't start.

Need to get into Menu 1, Item 5,  Option 1-no lock/unlock, Opt 2, Lock and Unlock, Opt 3 Lock Only, Opt 4 Unlock Only.

You need to access the menus for this. If you can't access the menus, check your wiring and your menu access procedures. Page 11 of install manual.

I'm so sorry man actually I have the installation guide, I tough you had a step by step instruction manual , you're the man , anyways I think I have to hook up the door locks 3pin wires from Remote start brain and disconnect the door lock from I data link, maybe this ficture will work , what I am trying to set is lock after ignition on and unlock ignition off , I have set menu 1, item 5 , option 2 but its not. Working..

You get into Menu 1, using the same procedure you used to get into menu 3 to change it from manual to automatic. Only stop at menu 1. How were you able to accomplish that before?  Do it again to get to menu 1.  Maybe D2D is malfunctioning.

Alright, the siren chirps once for menu 1. Does it then chirp 5 times to indicate you are in item 5? Or does it chirp for any item? How many chirps?  The alarm will chirp the number for what item you are in.  If not, start over and keep trying. I can take a few time to get the hang of it.

When you get to Menu1, Item 5, Press the lock OR unlock button until you get two chirps. You should get 1 to 4 chirps for each of the four option for Item 5. You want 2 chirps for ignition lock/unlock.  When you get 2 chirps, STOP. let go of the button wait 30-40 seconds for the system to time out of programing, the siren will sound one short blast when the system has exited programming. Hopefully it will stick.

Don't know what to tell you on it anymore.  Maybe you can find someone with a BitWriter that can access the brain to make that setting.
