Does anyone know how to wire the (+) parking lights in an 06 Chrysler 300? Would I need to relay isolate? Alarm/RS Viper 5904v

According to readyremote.com it's just a plain connection:
Parking Lights+      WHITE/ purple      +      passenger kick, harness to rear     

If you want to use the (-) parking light trigger then you will have to use a relay to isolate it from the switch and use a resistor:
Parking Lights-      WHITE/ brown (relay isolate from switch)      -1670 ohms      headlight switch or instrument cluster, gray 26 pin plug, pin 3

06 300 will take a 2.4k ohm resistor to ground without the need for a relay. Chargers and some of the newer vans are the same way. As long as you don't put straight ground to it you can try various resistors until you get the desired result. Easiest way is the old gm vats resistor kits. Go down the line until it works.

I have had 1 or 2 cars (most recent was a 2011 ram) that just would not accept a t-tapped (proper connection not scotchlocks) input.

Ok racerjames76. Question is this, would need I to isolate with the resistor if I am going to the + parking lights located in the pass. kick panel? Or, were you referring to the switch itself?

Sorry, yes that is 2.4k ohms to ground at the switch NOT the positive wire. No relay or other wiring involved. You are simply adding resistance to account to part of it back feeding through the switch back to ground. Ground shorted to ground = no problem. Just if the bcm does not see what it wants nothing or the wrong result will occur. As long as it isn't straight ground it can not be damaged.

Racer: When you did it that way, did you have any issues with the fog lights or headlights? I used to follow that same method on some vehicles until I ran into a problem with a Dodge Ram. Basically when remote started, if he would turn the headlights on before shutting down the system it would turn the parking lights off and the fog lights on. Then if he turned the fog light switch on, it would shut everything off but the parking lights. It was a really odd-ball issue that took me a bit to realize that it was because I didn't use a relay...

Only similar issue was if the fog light button (separate button from light turn dial) was pushed prior to remote start sequence the fog lights came on again on remote start. The button never failed to turn them off so i would not consider this an issue. If the fogs were off on last key start, they did not come on with the remote start. I think it may use the same wire, however in some cases. Again, if you try multiple resistors anywhere from. 380 to 11.6k you are bound to find one that does ONLY the parking lights.

I found that using a 0 - 5 K ohm multi-turn potentiometer ( available at RadioShack ) was a easy way to dial in the correct
working value.  Then just measure to pot's resistance value and use an equivalent standard resistor in the R/S's circuit.

Remember having a problem with the Parking Lights on the 2006 Dodge Ram in this pictorial :

I believe the bcm uses a range. I am pretty sure 2.4k works on the 06 ram as pictured. Most of the ground based chrysler's use either 1.1k, 2.4k or 5.6k. The charger and 300 are definitely 2.4k.
