I have 2006 Honda Accord install a python 5206P car alarm with remote start and idatalink immobilizer module. The green key symbol doesn't show on the dash when the remote start is activated and the engine doesn't crank, all the warning lights lite up on the dash but that's all it does. I sent the immobilizer back where I purchase the module to have it replace and program thinking it was the problem. I get a error code (9 flashes) on the alarm low battery/voltage mode, but my car battery is good and I change the feature to virtual tach that is require for the installation I'm using. I did check the wiring and they are connected ok. I put the car key in the ignition to the start position and do the transmitter remote start and it starts like that. Can I get a diagram on the wiring that needs to be connected for this alarm maybe I miss a wire or any suggestions

If you can get to remote start to work with a key in the ignition, your problem is pointing towards the immobilizer.  Did you program the idatalink per the instructions?  Did it program correctly?

How are you putting the key "to the start position"? Wouldn't the car start? Be more specific, will it remote start if you just set the key in the slot without turning it at all? List your wire connections here and we'll tell you if they are right...

putting key in the start position will not crank the engine unless I turn the key all the way to the crank position. I was told to do this by one of rep where I purchase the system to insert the key in the start position but not to turn it all the way and then press the transmitter to remote start the car. It works like that but without the key there's no cranking of the engine only the dash lights come on. I sent the immobilizer back to have it replace and program but the problem is still there. This is my wire hook up:
12volt white on ignition hook to red H1/1 (6 pin connector) and H3/6 (10 pin connector)
Starter BLACK/ white on ignition (I cut this wire)hook to violet H3/4 Starter side and the green H3/5 to the key side
Ignition BLACK / YELLOW on ignition hook to pink H3/1
Accessory BLACK/ red on ignition hook to orange H3/3
2nd accessory WHITE/ red hook to H3/9
Car chassis to black H1/2 (6 pin connector)
Parking lights + RED / black hook to white H1/5
on the 24-pin connector from the alarm module I use 2 wires.
BLACK/ white (13) to car chassis
Brake switch WHITE/ black + hook to brown (20)
On the immobilizer as to what the installation guide says to do I connected the following wires
WHITE/ black hook to the security light input blue/orange on ignition switch(key side)
WHITE/ red hook to the security light output blue/orange on ignition switch
ORANGE / black hook to key data RED / blue on ignition switch
orange hook to door lock data on the fuse box green 21-pin
and the last wire was the data mode that connects the immobilizer module to the alarm module. Program the immobilizer to data mode...got solid green light and then inserted key, turn key to program the key to the immobilizer...solid green light on then light went off removed key.
Did I miss something?

That's what I think too but the tech rep at where I purchase the system says it could be connected wrong. I have done what they suggested and I still can't seem to fix the problem. They requested me to send the immobilizer back to have it replace, which I did and to no avail. The immobilizer acts according to the procedure... 1 flash is for data mode, (which is the mode that I need) I hold the program button until led turns solid green to select the data mode. I then insert key in ignition and turn to start position (no crank position) led turns solid green for like a few seconds and off...turn key back and out. Try transmitter remote start and no cranking of engine only dash lights. They told me a green key symbol light on the car dash suppose to blink. That doesn't happen only when I use the key.

Need to connect ALL of the heavy gauge Red, RED / White, and RED / Black from the H3 Harness to the 12 volt source.

You are welcome.

It helps when people list all of the wires they have connected from the remote starter/bypass to what on the car. It gives a diagram of the install.
