Has anyone else had problems hooking up a DR-2000 to a Compustart Controller?
I'm using the new DR-2000 hooked to a new CM-6000 Alarm/Starter using the RS232 port.
The DR-2000 shows everything is active but it seems to fail to communicate with the Brain.. It seems to receive commands but nothing happens.

Check continuity between all of the pins in the data harness and make sure none of the pins are loose. Just for an example, I've had a couple remote starters that worked great, but the range was nowhere near what it should be. After a quick look, the antenna wire had ever so slightly pulled from the unit. After plugging it back in tight the range was great.

Power cycle the unit then remote start the car once with the remote to let it comminunicate with the drone module.

If your car requires a bypass.
You MUST use a blade AL
A blade TB does not work at all with a drone.
