Hello again everybody,
I need to finally get my trunk release hooked up to my Viper 4103XV so that I don't need to pack my other fob around with me. Thanks to this forum I have the remote starting working along with the door locks, I just need to get this last bit done and I can at last get my dash put back together. :)
I have a 1999 Buick Regal, but the wiring info I've found hasn't said anything on how to do the trunk release.
Thanks again!

Here is some info from various sources : Trunk Release BLACK/ WHITE (+) AT SWITCH Audiovox TRUNK RELEASE BROWN (-) (Requires #775 Relay) @ RELAY BEHIND GLOVE BOX Bulldog Security Trunk Release BLACK/ WHITE (+) REAR BODY HARNESS IN PASS. KICK PANEL Omega
You will need to test these wires with a Digital Multi Meter. Probably the BLACK/ White at the switch will be the easiest to find, verify & use. You will need a relay to convert the 4103's H1/7 RED / White (-)200mA Trunk Release output to the (+) signal the Regal needs. SPDT 30/40 Amp relay wiring as follows : Relay Pin 85 to 4103 H1/7 RED / White Relay Pin 86 and Pin 87 to +12V fused @ 10 Amps Relay Pin 30 to Regal BLACK/ White at Trunk Release switch ------------- Soldering is fun!

What does BCM stand for? I'd assume it's the same thing I found the door locks RED / black and ORANGE / black wires connected to?

BCM = Body control module.
Locks, windows, lights, trunk release, wipers etc. etc.

Got the trunk release working beautifully. The brown wire at the BCM did the trick quickly and easily without needing to use a relay. The only bit I wasn't able to figure out was, oddly enough, the horn - although I don't really care about that all that much.
I checked the black wire I found in the ignition harness [which was a much smaller diamater than the other wires in there] and measured it with my multi-meter while honking and didn't read anything. Just for kicks I tried hooking it up to the Viper anyway and nothing happened as I had expected. No matter, I finally have my dash back together!
Random question though - the small wiring cover that goes below my steering wheel is totally hosed, where can I get myself a replacement?

Random answer but think about breakers yards.

Try grounding that black wire. If it sounds the horn that's the one.
With a DMM, set to 20VDC, red probe to a 12V+ constant, black probe to suspect wire, sound the horn, it should read 12.3V+
