Not sure thats the best choice, I know that python has a nuetral safety wire for safe manual starting and if I recall, you civic does not have a nuetral safety switch.
I would go with a unit that offers reservation mode instead for safe starting.

Meant to say viper..
Reservation mode relys on monitoring the door triggers and e-brake. Essentially when you park the car, engage the ebrake and exit the car while it's still running. The car will shut down afterwards and reservation mode will be enabled. If the doors are opened or any other triggers such as brake, ebrake release etc, it will exit this mode to enure no chance of the car being started in gear.
The fact that you have to exit the vehicle while running will ensure the drivers has to leave it in neutral.

It's a reservation mode.

In that case you're good to go. Just use wire to wire connection between the viper and dball.
Looks like the DBALL will give you most of the connections.

Why W2W is better than D2D?
You save a lot of work on installation using D2D!?!

Yes but less reliable and how do you test if something goes wrong?
If you decide to hard wire to rectify the D2D will over ride it.
