Quick and easy one for you guys. I installed a Compustar 6200 remote start with Blade AL bypass into a 2013 Kia Optima PTS a couple weeks ago and just got a call from the customer that the factory remote is remote starting the car whenever he presses the lock button. I can't remember if there was a OEM remote start configuration or not and if it could be turned off in the module options.

I'm also a little confused because from what I understand, the customer is only pressing the lock button once and it is activating the remote start... usually the OEM remote provisions are set to pressing the lock button 3 times.

Anyone have any ideas or had the same issue?

Check the advanced features of the Blade. Looks like that firmware has RS Control from OEM remotes. It might be active for one lock press. You can either change it to 3 presses or disable it altogether.

I was pretty sure it did have an option to change it but I wanted to make sure before I had the customer come back. Didn't want to end up having him waste a trip.
