I installed a Code Alarm ca6551 with an FLCAN in my 2008 Toyota Tundra. Install was not bad for someone that hasn't touched an alarm install since 2007. I have a Pace Edwards bedlocker bed cover that's electronically controlled to open/close with it's own remote. I'd like to be able to eliminate the remote and use maybe an Aux output on the alarm to do so, but I'm unsure exactly how to do it. Anyone ran into this before?

The pace edwards bed lockers are ground switched. It just takes a ground pulse on either wire on the "in cab switch" cable for open or close. I don't remember which is which, and my truck isn't here for me to check. Mine had a 2 prong "trailer" plug as the connection point for the in cab switch, i was able to buy a long extension cable with that connector on amazon reasonably cheap. Then i just wired up a switch that was momentary in 2 directions and off in the center. The common terminal went to ground under my dash, and each side went to 1 of the leads from the bed locker.
Should be easy enough to interface to an alarm with that knowledge. If need be someone with more knowledge of your alarm can provide info on exactly how you would do it based n your desired mode of operation.

You would use say the dedicated trunk release to open and any spare aux to close.
Take to the aforementioned NEG pulse points.
Both set as "validity".

I don't think it's necessary to have a relay for it as you aren't providing the actual power, it's just a trigger lead.
