I am installing a Viper 5904, DBALL (am actually using 2 relays and resistor for passlock), Smart Start and PKE in my 2009 Hummer H3. I have been researching diligently and have everything installed, but am stuck on the proper connections for the remote start wiring harness. Could someone tell me exactly where each of the heavy gauge wires attach in this vehicle, so far have:
bypass set up as DEI DOC 1603 on WHT/BLU with H3/4, H3/1 and H2/9
H3/2 RED-White, H3/6 RED, H3/9 RED / BLACK together on 12volts
H3/1 PINK on WHT/GRN
H3/3 ORANGE on WHT/RED
Everything works as should with the exception of no crank, all relays click appropriately.
Also, OM states Priority lock can be chosen, but mine continues to unlock all doors on unlock.
For clarification, I would like to know where on the vehicle each heavy gauge wire from the Remote Start connector should be attached. thanks

Too darned complicated to easily explain, wait about 10 minutes, the DEI installation chart will be in the the Downloads/Manuals section (see above) search for 2009 H3, also search for DEI 1063, shows ignition wiring.

Have all of that, have done a few viper installs in the past, just never on this particular vehicle, as i said, everything works, remote start relays and bypass relays kick in, just want to ensure that all of the RS harness wires need to be connected and where, such as IGN2, STARTER2, STARTER IN/OUT, etc.? Again, thanks.

At a quick look on xpresskit.com, I don't even see the DB-ALL as an option for a 2009 Hummer. Are you sure it will work with that vehicle?

Here is the ignition information for that car, but I would imagine that a proper data module would handle the mux for you. Otherwise it is a very PITA relay / resistor setup that you will have to wire in. I would look into the data module before going too far into it...

12volts      orange (20A), orange (15A)      +      BCM, black 56 pin plug, pins B5 and B8
Notes: If equipped, the Digital Radio Receiver is under the passenger dash, behind the glove box.
Starter      purple (for starter kill only)      +      starter or underhood fuse box, top, white 2 pin plug, pin 1
Second Starter      WHITE/ dk. blue (resistor code), WHITE/ yel (5V ref)      mux      ignition switch, green 6 pin plug, pins 4 and 5
Notes: If interface module is not available, see Tech Doc 1603.
Ignition      WHITE/ dk. green      +      ignition switch, green 6 pin plug, pin 3
Second Ignition      N/A
Third Ignition      N/A
Accessory      WHITE/ red      +      ignition switch, green 6 pin plug, pin 1
Second Accessory      same as second starter
Keysense      same as second starter

Actually, the H3 is the same as the Colorado/Canyon of same model years, and DBALL works as for those. Took it out of system though, as i couldn't get it to do priority locking as my wife likes...

I thought those also had the immobilizer as well as the passlock (PK3+)?? Have you tried starting it with the key in the ignition turned to off?

Doc 1603 is the PK3 bypass. I still know a lot of people do them this way due to issues with the older firmwares throwing the car in to tamper mode randomly.

Assuming you followed Doc 1603 correctly, What did you get for PK3 resistance when you measured it? Should be within 5%. Check for 12v on the starter wire, make sure the diode is the right way on the ignition wire, make sure status is connected correctly...

Ahhh ok. It's been a while since I've had to deal with one and I couldn't remember if it bypassed the immobilizer as well. Carry on.

Sorry for the delay, but my problem is simply, which of my remote starter wires to attach and where, i have experience with installing vipers, just the issue with my H3. I have all the required documentation, the proper resistors (previously installed with working dealer installed APS-921 Remote Start, which was disconnected by service dept when i took in for a different problem), just need to know which wires to hook to the (3) wires on the H3 to properly remote start, thanks. the previous installation worked flawlessly, just wanted to upgrade to viper, and as mentioned before, service department unhooked working remote start before i could document wiring.

So read the info I downloaded earlier, that will tell you more than we can.
