I have a 2005 Tacoma with a Viper 5704 that I installed a couple of months ago thanks to help from the12volt.com. Although the system in my truck is working well, I think I may have misunderstood some of the previous help and wired the relay incorrectly. This is how I wired the relay: posted_image

Someone else told me that I should have done it this way: posted_image

And another person told me this is the correct way: posted_image

So obviously I need some help. Which way would be the best way? Also, does anyone know if this wiring would change depending on the year of the truck? I know 2005-2008 Tacomas have the same wiring, so would 2010s, for instance, be different? Thank you for your help.

The third diagram is correct.
There's EVERY chance a 2010 will be different doubly so if the body style changed.
Or they could follow the European trick of using the next model's engine and electrics.
Not a chance I would take.

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
