Subject: New guy with alarm and keyless entry ?

I hooked an alarm in my car. I bought the alarm back in 97' its a Freedom 411 and its a self contained unit. I hooked it to my 90 Nissan Stanza so that I could have keyless entry. I have power locks and I thought it wouldn't be that hard to hook up. But I found that it almost impossible to get working right. Here's the problem I have a unlock and lock wire on my switch in the car. I have only one wire on the alarm for the starter interupt it's a (-) out-put according to the instructions. I can get the alarm to unlock, or lock but not both and I need a wiring diagram to hook it up correctly. I have several relay and capacitors. I just need to know how to make it work right. Thanks for any help.

I would buy one if they weren't so expensive. I don't have the money to spend on one. I'm just a poor college student too broke to pay attention. I was kinda hoping it could be done with a couple of relays. I also have something called a "pulse kicker" made by periphial. I was told that I needed it back when I shaved my door handles on my blazer but I never hooked it up.

You might be able to use the relays. Is there a website with your alarm's manual? I couldn't find one.

No website I could find either. Just ones that are selling them, none with tech or wiring diagrams.

I know there's an omega one, but I can't find it either....it's something other than omega.com
