I am installing a viper 5701 in a 2005 gmc canyon with an automatic transmission. I have the alarm installed with the xpresskit pljx interface. The alarm side is all set and working properly its the auto start H3 plug that has me a little confused. I have installed external Bosch type relays before for items. H3- 1&6 do they both need to go to ignition, where are 4&5 going since I don't have starter wires, which are going to the battery, and is 3 going to the heater circuit. I am looking to run the heater circuit which I couldn't find in any of the wiring diagrams or the neutral safety switch. Thank You in advance for any help.

With an Automatic Transmission, the Neutral Safety Switch wire goes to Chassis Ground.
Here is a picture of a 2008 Colorado with the wires marked. As shown, you can get all the necessary
wires at these connectors on the inside firewall and don't have to open up the steering column.
