I am looking for a replacement transmitter for a customer who just bought a used Rav 4. Dealer told her they do not give the transmitter with them because they do not want to be liable...what a crock..Anyways the control box says CM520....assuming Compustar? Looked around a bit...any ideas where to get one...not to many dealers around me..Thanks

Don't remember a Compustar CM520 but there is a CM5200.  If it is a CM5200, check the antenna. ( Follow the Blue 4 Pin plug on backside of brain ) There should be some sort of marking on it.  The more common types are 1WAM and 1W900FM for 1 way remotes and 2W900FM for 2 way remotes.

A new antenna kit is about $50 on up and includes the antenna, harness and two remotes.
