I have ta 2013 ram 1500 no factory alarm installed( but i think its wired) no factory remote start.
Is this all I need to get hooked up Viper 5704v and Fortin EVO-ALL?
Thanks

Assuming your RAM is a non-PTS truck. Going by this install guide ( https://ifar.ca/download/8111/preview.html ) you will need a 1k Ohm resistor and a 1N4001 diode plus fuse down the Viper to 5 Amps. That, plus a FlashLink2 updater to flash the correct firmware and do the D-Cryptor process.
The EVO-ALL must be the latest hardware version ( Ver 6 ) and this firmware is considered Beta. You could flash the EVO-ALL with the D2D box checked ( instead of the Fortin box ) and try going Viper DBI D2D data between the bypass and the R/S. You could also buy the optional THAR-CHR3 harness but that wouldn't save too many wires / connections. Personally, I'd do it all W2W.

OK. Let's make sure we are on the same page. Here are my current understandings...
The vehicle is a 2013 Dodge RAM with the weird key that is plastic and fits into the ignition switch. Vehicle does not have Push to Start.
You have an EVO-ALL bypass module that is Hardware Version 6.
You have the Fortin FlashLink Updater 2.0.
You have downloaded the necessary programs / files for FlashLink Manager onto your PC.
You are using a Viper 5704 remote start / alarm system.
You do not have a THAR-CHR3 harness or a BitWriter.
You want to go with the W2W type installation.
Here is the basic wiring ( all of this is shown in the very detailed EVO-ALL guide ) :

You will be using Fortin Install Guide #7921. Please note that is says the module should be flashed with firmware Version 1.02. That is not correct. Use Firmware Version 74.01, which is the recommended version shown in the FlashLink Manager program.
Just follow the EVO-ALL Install guide for module programming & the D Cryptor process.
There is Viper option programming necessary, too. Set to Auto Trans, Tach Mode, etc...

Wow, I did not mean for you to type all that but thanks.
Thanks for your help. Jut hooking up the evo and a r/s seemed straight forward but throw in the alarm I wasn't sure and not much info out there for the entire combination.
I do have the THAR-CHR3 harness
If it is easier not to use it, I will not.
Do not have BitWriter.
Thanks for your time

Glad to help, James.
The THAR-CHR3 cable will save a few connections.
You can do the Viper programming with the remotes, the BitWriter just makes it easier. ------------- Soldering is fun!

I'm having a little confusion with the wire that needs to be fused down to 5 amp with the harness. Do I actually need that wire? The harness is a little different than the drawing. not sure which wire need fuse in this case.
wiring with chr3 harness
Thanks

ok went slow soldered every connection, double checked every connection then when I hooked up evoall for programming I got nothing not even a red power light.
I am using the t-harness(char). and in the data from the t-harness only a red and black are hooked up.
I have nothing from data to r/s b/c im using the t-harness. Is this correct?
When I put the evoall on the flash updater everthing reads fine
Thanks

Finally got my evoall Bypass to program but now Im having trouble.
Dodge ram(2013), viper 5704, Fortin Evoall
-Alarm arms, locks unlocks, parking lights flash when arming etc
-Alarm triggers if I arm it then open the door from the inside. Shuts off when I press unlock.
-When I try to remote start it says error on the remote.
-I also hear several clicks- similar to an old school blinker sound. Cant tell if it is some random relay or the r/s or bypass.
-When I do the system check from the control unit the blue light flashes 7 times.
-The parking lights do not flash at all during remote start.
Any help would be great. I don’t know where to start trouble shooting.
Thanks

Now it remote starts but when i put my key in and step on brake it dies!!
Professional installers earn every penny. This is a head ache. HaHa

Well, lets see. You went with D2D and the THAR-CHR3 harness, so all of the previous wiring info I listed is useless. You will now follow the Fortin Install Guide # 7981.
Did you flash the EVO-ALL with the D2D box checked, instead of the Fortin box?
Troubleshooting a problem when going with a D2D connected system is near impossible if you want to actually put a DMM on a wire to check a signal. That is why a lot of installers still use the old, and very reliable, W2W method.
The one thing I think I noticed was your comment about no hardwiring between the EVO-ALL and the Viper, just the D2D harness. That is wrong. There is still one connection left. The Vipers thick Ignition1 output, H3/1 Pink wire, has a diode ( 1N4001, band towards the Viper ) then it goes to the RAM ( Pink/Light Green wire in a 4 Pin Plug ) and the EVO-ALL at Plug A, Pin A1. ------------- Soldering is fun!

Thanks kreg357. I did go with w2w as you suggested. I also then tried data, but ended up going back to w2w. I ended up cutting off the end of
the wire that hooked into the flash updater. it appears that one of the head ends was messed up on my data harness.
After that I was able to program.
I then came across a post that said "check to see if set to the default, which is manual . . ." problem solved. I changed it to auto-trans.
The issue I have now is after I auto start I get in the car and put my key in, turn it on and when I push the break It dies.
Looks like I'm close. I'll try again after work.
Thanks for continuing to help.

ok- all is good. The only "real" problem was the messed up connecter mentioned earlier. The second problem was due to programming error. I had it set to standard instead of auto.
The last problem was truck dying after auto start when break is pressed. Solved this morning. not only does the key need to be in the on position but you also must turn the key as if to start before stepping on brake and putting in gear.
So in all there were no real problems just ignorance.
I post this so maybe it will help another wire challenged diy person.
Thanks to kreg357 the wiring he posted was perfect.
Now I'll see if I can get windows to roll up and down without destroying everything- haha
Thanks

Hey got everything working and just thought I may as well go overboard. How exactly can I wire a DEI 507M to my existing sensors? I only have 2 sensor ports on my viper brain. Is there a way I can have all 3 sensors send response separately to my remote?
