I'm trying to install the Viper 3202 car alarm into my 2001 Honda Accord Lx (4dr), and I'm most importantly trying to get the keyless entry to work. My car didn't originally come with the remote, but has power locks. There are fuses on the drivers side panel as well as the passengers. Will I have to run my wires to the passenger side panel for the door locks, because that's where the reference chart says my door lock fuse is at. My dad is just being hard headed and thinking all the wires are on the driver side panel.

Might be easier than that. Here is some info from Bulldog Security on your 2001 Accord LX : NOTE #3: USE BLACK/ WHITE (-) FOR LOCK AND GREEN/ RED (-) FOR UNLOCK ON LX MODELS WITHOUT FACTORY SECURITY. THESE WIRES ARE LOCATED IN A 2 PIN GRAY CONNECTOR BY THE FRONT OF THE DRIVERS SIDE FUSEBOX.
Set the Viper up for (-) door lock outputs. ( H2/1 and H2/4 to chassis ground. H2/3 and H2/6 not used. H2/2 to vehicle Unlock wire & H2/5 to vehicle Lock wire. ) ------------- Soldering is fun!

Connect the H2/2 & H2/5 to the Lock and Unlock motors (drivers side fuse box)? Or to the power lock and unlock(passanger fuse box)?
Even when we connect it, the locks just aren't locking...

You do not need to go to the motor wires. Did you locate, test and verify the power lock wires in the Gray 2 Pin connector by the front of the drivers side fuse box?

It worked! Thank you! Do you know if my car would work for the trunk release?

Is the trunk release mechanical or an electric push button? I can't remeber exactly ( thought some only had a mechanical trunk release ) but here is some info you can check / verify : Trunk Release GREEN/ BLUE (-) AT KEYLESS MODULE (LX), *** KEYLESS/SECURITY Module attached to the DRIVERS UNDERDASH PANEL Use this Viper H1/1 RED / WHITE (-) 200mA AUX/TRUNK OUTPUT wire.

Do you think you can give me the information for the whole alarm? After my dad successfully got the keyless entry to work, we were at lost for the rest. Like which wire goes to which color wire on my car. And ones we didn't need to use. It's confusing when looking at the alarms reference chart, and then the cars reference chart because everything is listed, some wires are on the passenger side fuse box, where you could still hook it up all to the driver side wires. Also, my trunk is mechanical release, where I have to lift the tab thing to open it. I would greatly appreciate it if you can, thanks so much for your help!!!!
