Are there any alarm fitters that may be able to give me a little help with my Clifford 650, the problem I have is when I lock the car the doors instantly unlock, but if I activate remote start and remove the key from ignition I can lock okay, if I try and lock the car with the key in door it instantly unlocks, I've just fitted this alarm and it was removed from the same model and all the wires are where they should be.. any help much appreciated chaps

This is the reason amateurs shouldn't install.
E46 is just about the easiest car if you follow procedure.
Is it an auto or a manual?

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

It's a manual, everything works fine except when I lock it unlocks instantly, I'm an amateur at alarms yes but I've done plenty of engine conversions ect including wiring, the central locking is wired up right as I have checked diagrams but I think the alarm senses there's a door open, just ordered a Clifford port cable for pc so if all else fails I can diagnose through that
