Hopefully I can get a little help here.  I have a 1990 Honda Accord EX with manual transmission.  I installed a Compustar 1WAM-S a few days ago mainly to have keyless entry, but I also like having a remote starter for those cold mornings and hot days here where I live.  My question is the subject above...where do I hook up the Starter Output Wire?  I have everything hooking up properly before this wire.  I can get my vehicle into "reservation" mode so I can remote start the vehicle at a later time.  When I attempt to start the vehicle with the remote starter, I get nothing after my accessories light up.  If I am sitting in the vehicle, have my foot on the clutch, and hit the remote start it works.  This what someone told me yesterday... "You need to connect the starter output wire to the motor (or wire under the hood) not under the dash, the clutch wont allow the car to crank."

I am just clueless exactly where this wire needs to go.  Any help is definitely appreciated!  Thank you!

Look for the clutch switch, I believe the starter output runs through it so connect your starter out put from the comp to the output wire at the clutch switch.

I believe I tried that yesterday too.  I found the clutch switch above the clutch with two wires coming from it.  I tapped into each one sperately and got a weird buzzing from my remote start box and did not get it to start that way.

Do you have cruise control? If so you might have picked on the cruise control cut-off. Don't just connect the wires by brute force, that will = $$$ from you pocket, test, use a meter or test light, one of those will give you 12 volts+ on cranking with the clutch depressed.

I believe it should be a blue/white wire. But then Again I NEVER install a remote starts on customers cars with manual transmissions. EVER.

Normally I would agree but OP did mention MTS reservation.
