Wanted to see if anyone has had any issues with these. I don't know 100% for sure if it's the bypass module or the truck itself. The issue I'm having is the truck will act up (happened twice) a short time after remote starting and then driving it. All the dash lights will light up with the info center saying "service stability control", check tire pressure monitoring, and I believe service suspension. The airbag, abs, and battery lights will stay on constantly. The radio will play low fuzzy noise,(display goes blank) but won't cut off even with the key out and door open. Only the driver's window will open/close from the driver's door. Door locks will stop working, and the shifter gear indicator will not work( Letters for the gears will still be there( P,R,N,D,2, etc), interior lights triggered by doors open won't work either. The first time it happened I thought it was a chaffed wire, but it's happened again and I checked the wires and they are fine. The issue goes away after disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes. After that, everything goes back to normal. It's not my daily driver so I don't know when it will happen again. Should I try another bypass module or can it be a truck issue?

Wow, IMHO the DBALL is total junk but even i doubt it could cause all that you state. Chances are your gonna have to wait unit it get's worse, then disconnect the DBALL and wait to see if it happens again....

Thanks. I will check the ground connection when I have free time.

There are a few things you could try checking out. Actually, probably worth checking no matter what.

---Instrument panel ground:
https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/84934-bcm-problems-and-ground-g203-location/

---ABS ground. It's under the car, bolted to the frame, just behind the driver's-front wheel. Yes, they put an external ground wire directly in the path of salt and rain spraying up from the tire.

---Battery terminals. GM side-mount batteries seem to have their terminals come loose over time. Obviously you don't want to over-tighten them, but it would be no surprise if you could move the cables around by hand, if they haven't been tightened up in a while.

---Up above, if you read through the link I supplied, one poster found a bad ground cable between the battery and the car's chassis or engine. Would be a good idea to follow all cables from the battery to wherever they go, and check the connection there.

Cool thanks! Will definitely look into this since there is some rust under there. I've had this happen twice in about 3 months so I have a feeling it will be back again soon. I don't drive the truck much but I will make time this week to check out the wiring.

How are the connections made at the ignition switch? Solder, T taps or other?
