2000 accord door trigger easycar e8 b

I have recently wired a Easycar E8-b into my 2000 Accord SE and have an have an issue with the door trigger. I have tapped into the BLACK/ white (-) wire in the passenger fuse box as all the posts recommend for the 1998-2002 Accord EX model (same system as mine). I have hooked up the trigger to my positive input via a STDP relay and while it does work using this trigger also causes a problem with my system. The issue is that the trigger activates as the door is opened but upon closing the door stays on until the dome light goes out. This causes two issues with my setup. Since the system thinks the doors are still open it wont let me start the car until the light goes out and when I walk away from the car, it is supposed to automatically lock, but does not because it thinks the door is still open.

Also if the door is left open when the light goes out the system thinks the door is closed and has a habit of locking the doors.

Is there another wire that I can tap into that is not based on a timer and still monitors all the doors? Or is there a work around that someone could recommend.

Wire directly to each door trigger and join together with 1N4004 diodes, bands facing away from R/S.
Left Front door, GREEN/ orange, driver side fuse box, green 10 in plug.
Right front door, green, passenger side fuse box, green 20 pin plug.
Left rear door, GREEN/ YELLOW, driver side fuse box, green 10 pin plug.
Right rear door, GREEN / WHITE, passenger side fuse box, green 20 pin plug.
All above are NEG
What I don't understand is your wiring to a POS door input.
I've never heard of an alarm or R/S with only a POS input.
BTW doesn't the dome light shut down as soon as the doors are locked?
Try a 1N4004 diode across the relay coil terminals, band to POS terminal.
Or can you program your unit to ignore door delay?

Quite right young man, it should be POS (+) or NEG (-) or even 12V or 0V but not POS which is what I've been told describes Easycar product.

Yea there are a few issues with the product but overall it is pretty nice not having to use a key anymore. There is a NEG input but it had even more issues than the positive.

I appreciate the input Howie and when I have a bit of free time ill track those wires down and change the setup around. Should fix all the issues that I am having with the system.

By the way the lights do go out when you lock the car but the system runs based on the two way fob. As you walk up or walk away it unlocks and locks the car respectively.
