Hi guys,
I’m in need of some help with my autopage remote start system. Currently, I have the ignition wires, accessory, 12 volt constant, and starter wire hooked up for the remote start. I mean I have attempted to remote start the vehicle with the key in the off position in my ignition. By doing so, my car dash flickers, parking lights come on but immediately shut off within 1 second. However, the instructions received with the bypass transponder are very poor. Is there anyway possible for someone to point me in the right direction? What color wires from the transponder harness do I need to connect? And where would they connect? Anyone’s help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Here is what I have….
2000 Altima (chip key)

If it still fails to start with the key in the ignition you're doing something wrong.
2 starter wires on that vehicle I believe.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Either that or you went to the wrong side of the brake switch.

X 2 with Howard. Don't think the universal bypass is the issue if it won't remote start with a key in the ignition,
set to OFF.

Can't find an install guide for your Autopage RS720 either. Why don't you list the R/S harness wires and the
connections to the car.

The bypass is pretty straight forward. Follow the install steps starting on Page 14 of the install guide. There
will only be two connection from the bypass.
YELLOW /GREEN wire to either RS720 fused +12V constant power fused input wire ( Red ? )
WHITE/ Green to RS720 Ground Output While Running wire

Not familiar with the Autopage RS720 but are you running in Tach Mode? Have you connect the Tach Input
wire to a good / verified Tach source and performed the Tach Learn process yet?

2 starter wires? The wiring diagram only shows there is only one on my vehicles make and model from this site.

Speaking of tach, is it mandatory to have it wired up for the engine to run? Ive read that it was optional..

Tach : Depending on the R/S brand, it can be optional. However, running in Tach Mode usually works best.

As far as ignition wires, here is the info from ReadyRemote ( DEI ) :
12volts  WHITE/ red (+)    ignition harness
Starter BLACK / YELLOW (+) ignition harness
Second Starter BLACK/ blue (+) ignition harness
Ignition  BLACK/ red (+)    ignition harness
Accessory     BLACK/ pink (+) ignition harness
Second Accessory     WHITE/ blue (+) ignition harness

Here is the info from AudioVox :
Battery WHITE/ RED (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 1 BLACK/ RED (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 2 BLACK/ PINK (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory 1 WHITE/ BLUE (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 1 BLACK / YELLOW (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 2 BLACK/ BLUE (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Due to the conflicting info, you will want to use your Digital Multi Meter to test, locate and verify to be sure.

Stop quoting manuals;
"2 starter wires? The wiring diagram only shows there is only one on my vehicle's make and model from this site".
TEST, DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING!
Come to think of it that's my by-line, see below, I wonder why?
I'm 100% sure Mr. M. is with me on that one.
