my 2005 dodge ram 1500 (without chipped key) currently has the 791xv 2 way viper alarm in it and its finally on its last leg.
So to replace it I was going to go with the 5901 and the smartstart module.
The alarm installers said the 791xv needed a auxillary module to work with the dodge for the remote start.
My question is, when it comes to the 5901 what additional harnesses/modules do i need to make this installation complete?

None but none of the plugs are compatible.

have fun. If you have never done it before take your time and go slow. All of the wire colors should be the same.
