I am doing two different installations and the same problem on both,
I am installing an Avital 5303L Remote Start/Security System on my 2004 Cadillac CTS and a Avital 4103LX Remote Start on my friends 2006 Nissan Titan both using the XpressKit DBALL interface modules,
First I programmed a DBALL Module for my car but the only thing working is the Bypass function nothing else works the only way I can get anything to work is if I do W2W,
and then I programmed the other DBALL Module for my friend's truck and same thing only Bypass function works everything else only W2W,
I got everything working W2W but the main reason I wanted to do D2D is because that's the only way I can use my OEM remotes to control the new security system as for my friends truck the factory alarm can only be disarmed with the OEM Remote and in order for the remote start to work he would have to leave it disarmed and that's something he doesn't want to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The programming procedures for both DBALL modules where Connect harness 1-3, press and hold program button, connect D2D harness, wait until led turns orange and then release button and start vehicle,
programming has been done correctly because the led turns green for 3 seconds like it says on the programming instructions,
DBALL Module for the 2004 Cadillac CTS is flashed with 401.GM2 v1.06
DBALL Module for the 2006 Nissan Titan is flashed with 401.NISS01 v1.04

With the 2006 Titan, the DB-ALL will not control the Factory Alarm. Don't think any current bypass module can. I don't
use DB-ALL's ( or go D2D ) so I am not sure what the DB-ALL's programming Feature 3 does. It sounds like it just disables
the vehicles Factory Alarm. However, the Factory FOB's are not the only way to control the alarm. To keep the Factory
Alarm working, you can directly control it from the Avital. The best way is to connect to the vehicles BCM as shown in this
Fortin EVO-ALL installation guide : https://ifar.ca/download/9211/preview.html See Connection 2 on Page 7. Typically,
a diode ( oriented correctly ) is inserted into the empty pin connector holes of the BCM plug and the R/S's wire is soldered
to the diode. This will control the Factory Alarm and the door locks.

With the general Avital D2D issue, here is a possible solution from our friends at iDatalink : https://www.12voltdata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=8315

Thanks for the replies,
Everything is working now can't believe I spent 6 hours trying to get this thing working and all I had to do is ground the activation wire to change from W2W to D2D,
I will try connecting the 2 wires to the BCM on my friend's Titan this weekend and I will post the result.
