Ok so I have a 2003 jeep liberty and I tried installing a dball module
after connecting things as per the instructions I programed the module fine but it wouldn't work. I gave up on it and u hooked everything, when I stated the car it only ran for a couple seconds and shut right off. I hooked everything up the way it was and rechecked everything but still only runs a couple of seconds then shuts off. I tried locking the car and unlocking the car with the factory remote and no luck, please help thanks

If at any point while unhooking the DBALL you removed power and ground before removing the data wires you may have accidentally fried your SKIMM module. The micro computer responsible for decoding the chip in the key and processing the keyless entry data. My only suggestion is to disconnect the battery both cables and hold them together for 2 minutes. Disconnecting the negative cable first and reconnecting the negative cable last. You want any spark to occur downstream of the other computers in the vehicle. Touching the cables together WITH THEM DISCONNECTED FROM THE BATTERY will drain any remaining charges stored in the PCM. I hope this works but you may be in trouble. posted_image

Didn't the older Chryslers have something where if it saw too many 'bad' key signals it would lock out the system for an hour or so? Or am I just losing my mind??? lol.

More then likely you popped a fuse.... Check the skim immobilizer module and see if it gets power with the ignition on. Also its constant power. Sounds like the constant power is out since the remotes don't work.
