I am trying to install a keyless entry viper 211. I just like to learn and do it myself. My question is. The lock #87 normally closed, lock #30 common output, lock normally open input, unlock #30 common output, unlock #87 normally open output. What are these? I know have lock RED / black, unlock tan and gray/black. Door trigger gray/black and BLACK/ white. I really thank you for the help.

The numbers 87 and 30 refer to the systems internal relays. 87 being the input. whether your locks are positive or negative trigger you would connect that wire accordingly. 30 being the output to the locks

So just to make sure. Common is for the neg locks for it to lock and normally closed is if it needs positive that needs to close. Thanks for the help...

The numbers refer to the terminals of an SPDT relay. Your vehicle has 3 wire negative switch door locks. See the references below.
