I bought an 03 Hyundai Accent 4 dr with above unit/add-on PDL actuators. No remote came with car. I bought a proper remote. I can program LOCK and it works just fine. But can't get UNLOCK programmed to work. Tried 10x. The remote shows RF signal on Lock, Unlock, Option, so I think it's fine.

Can the brain go out on just one channel? Some other programming technique I should try? Thanks, Doug

How are you programming the remote?

There was also a tech note recently that may or may not apply here. Has to do with the antenna picking up interference during programming. Basically you follow the guide but when pressing the transmitter buttons the transmitter must be more than 10 feet from the antenna. posted_image worth a shot if nothing else works..

Thanks, racerjames. But I lost patience. I yanked 45B out and going to put an el cheapo Chinese unit in. Fleabay vendor has kit: brain, wire harness, 2 x key-chain remotes for $12.98. That's a lot cheaper than 1 key-chain remote for 45B. If it goes bad, I'll get another kit and change brain out. Time will tell.
