Hi there I'm new here and I'm seem to be having trouble with wiring my alarm to my car
The alarm side of thing are working fine it's just the remote start side of thing that's not working for me so far all I can get is acc no ignition or start at this point but if I put the key in the ignition and turn to ON it cranks but does not fire or even run I have not connected my tach wire yet as I can not find it my car is common rail diesel so no coil or injector. My 2nd problem is that the brake wire (brown) was connected but for some reason it blow the fuse for the brake lights does this need a diode or something similar
To stop this from happening. I also forgot to add the wait to start wire is yet to be found.
Any help with this would be really appreciate
Thanks tony

No diesels in the states but the Frontier should be close...
For vehicle wiring, here are some sources :

Here is a link to Bulldog Security : https://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp

Here is a link to Ready Remote : https://www.readyremote.com/main.asp

Here is a link to AudioVox : https://techservices.audiovox.com/AccessRequest.aspx    Sign-up & info is free.

Assuming it matches the Frontier, here is the Viper H3 to the trucks ignition switch harness connections ( according to DEI ) :

H3/1 PINK (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT WHITE/ Green
H3/2 RED / WHITE (87) FLEX RELAY +12V INPUT (30A FUSED)Green
H3/3 ORANGE (+) ACCESSORY OUTPUT Red
H3/4 VIOLET (+) STARTER OUTPUT (CAR SIDE OF THE STARTER KILL)   Gray    cut wire
H3/5 GREEN (+) STARTER INPUT (KEY SIDE OF THE STARTER KILL)        Gray    cut wire
H3/6 RED IGNITION 1 +12V INPUT (30A FUSED)      Green
H3/7 PINK/WHITE (30) FLEX RELAY OUTPUT (car side of ign, acc or starter wire) GREEN/ YELLOW    ***Set Viper to ACC2   Menu 3, Item 8, Option 2
H3/8 PINK/BLACK (87a) FLEX RELAY INPUT (key side of ign, acc or starter wire if needed)not used
H3/9 RED / BLACK ACCESSORY/STARTER RELAY +12V INPUT (30A FUSED) Green
H3/10 NC No Connection

Of course the Digital Multi Meter is your friend because Bulldog Security lists a Light Green Starter 2 wire and Audiovox lists the Red wire as an Ignition and shows a
WHITE/ Red as another Ignition wire. Worst case scenario is you find 2 Starter wires, 2 Ignition wires and 2 Accessory wires...

Not sure why it's blowing the vehicle brake light fuse. That Viper Brown Brake wire is just an input wire. Does your truck have the trailer prep connector ( electronic brake
pre-wired connector )? It's a White six pin plug near the ignition switch. It has the Brake and the Parking Light wires there, too.

If you can't find a Wait to Start wire, you can just set a fixed start delay time. See Menu 3, Item 9. With a BitWriter you can set any delay between 1 and 90 seconds.
