I finished installing a remote starter to a Lexus ES300 1997.
When i started the vehicle with the RS, the factory alarm goes on

i know the factory alarm will arm/disarm by lock/unlock the doors.

Can I use the (-)Ground when Running wire and tap it to the door unlock wire from the vehicle?
I'm assuming the Ground when running wire will unlock the door before it remote start the vehicle, so that the factory alarm won't go on.

I see on the programming option, that there is a programming, if set to enable, it will lock the door after remote start. So this will solve my problem.

I just want to make sure that i can use the (-)ground when running wire to disarm/unlock the factory alarm.

There are a number of things you can do. If your remote start has a programming feature / option to Unlock before a remote start and then Lock after, that would work but
the best way is to connect the unused Ground When Running wire to this wire : Keysense     Blue/Black (-)     @ ignition key switch

i don't think my car has the keysense. it seem that the keysense was on 1998+ vehicle.

my remote stater has only the feature to lock after starting. I don't see any feature to unlock before starting.

Not sure if it does have a Keysense wire. Bulldog Security does not list it. The previous info was from ReadyRemote ( DEI ) and here is more info from AudioVox:
Key Sense RED / BLUE (-) @ STEERING COLUMN HARNESS
Typically on Toyota / Lexus, the Keysense is in a separate 2 or 4 pin plug at the ignition key cylinder.

Should be easy to find. Digital Multi Meter to 20V DC, Red test lead to +12V constant and the Black test lead to the suspect Keysense wire. The DMM will go to +12V when a key is inserted into the ignition switch.
