This is what I would assume as a non professional
H3/1 - BLACK / YELLOW
H3/4 - starter car side RED / white (crank wire)
H3/5 - starter key side RED / white (crank wire)
H3/6 - ignition 1 input RED / white constant 12 volt
H3/9 - acc/starter input WHITE/ black

The Nissan Patrol was never imported into the States so I can't find any wire guide listings
to verify your results.
WHITE/ red - constant 12 volt +12V Constant
WHITE/ red - crank Starter
blue/red - acc Accessory
WHITE/ black - on ??? Ignition
BLACK / YELLOW - negative ??? Keysense
Assuming there are two separate WHITE/ Red wires.
Here is how to test your ignition wires.
+12V constant = always +12V
Starter = +12V only when key is in the START position
Ignition = +12V in the ON and START positions
Accessory = +12V in ON but drops to 0V in START position
Going by your post, here is how the H3 connector should be wired :
1 PINK (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT WHITE/ Black
2 RED / WHITE (30A) FUSED IGNITION 2 not used
3 ORANGE ACCESSORY OUTPUT Blue/Red
4 VIOLET (+) STARTER OUTPUT (CAR SIDE) WHITE/ Red Starter cut
5 GREEN (+) STARTER INPUT (KEY SIDE) WHITE/ Red Starter cut
6 RED (+) FUSED (30A) IGNITION 1 INPUT WHITE/ Red +12V
7 PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION 2 not used
8 PINK/BLACK FLEX RELAY INPUT 87A not used
9 RED / BLACK FUSED (30A) ACC/STARTER INPUT WHITE/ Red +12V
10 N/C N/C

Yes there are two separate WHITE/ red wires
WHITE/ red always +12 volt
WHITE/ red starter wire with key in start position
blue/red +12 volt key in accessory position (OV in start position)
WHITE/ black +12 volt key in on position
BLACK / YELLOW no voltage (I think to negative on battery)
I don't understand where H3/9 goes ??? starter wire or +12 Volt ???
Viper says remote start error then viper module clicks several times ???
Neutral safety switch is in on position and ground.
I haven't hooked up 13 BLACK/ white neutral safety from 24 pin connector this may be my problem ???

The H3/9 wire goes to +12V constant. The Vipers uses this wire to supply power to the H3/3 and H3/4 output wires when needed.
Are all of these ignition wires found at one connector at the ignition switch cylinder? Are all
of these wires between 10 and 14 gauge? Some Nissans had two Starter wires and possibly
two Ignition type wires.
Verify that the WHITE/ Black wire stays at +12V when you rotate the key to START.
Re BLACK / YELLOW wire :
Is this BLACK / YELLOW wire the same thickness as the other wires?
To test for a (-) type signal, use a Digital Multi Meter. Connect the Red test lead to +12V
constant and the Black test lead to the BLACK / YELLOW wire. Do you get a constant +12V
reading? Do you get a 0V reading until you insert the key, then it goes to +12V?
The Neutral Safety Switch must be plugged in and set to ON.
Does the Patrol have a manual transmission? If you have a manual transmission, there are a
bunch of thing that must be done to ensure a proper and safe installation of your Viper system
in regards to the remote start portion.
The Neutral Safety wire ( BLACK/ White, Pin 13 of 24 Pin connector ) should be connected to either
chassis ground on vehicles with an automatic transmission or the E-Brake wire if your Patrol has
a manual transmission.
The Vipers clicking during a remote start attempt is important. Do you have the Parking Lights
connected and working? Count the number of clicks/flashes and look that up in the Vipers
Remote Start Diagnostics table or Shutdown Diagnostics codes.

H3/3 - Orange - Blue/Red - Key to Accessory Position
H3/4 - Violet - BLACK / YELLOW car side Key To Start Position
H3/5 - Green - BLACK / YELLOW key side Key To Start Position
H3/6 - Red - RED / White
H3/7 - Pink/White Not Used
H3/8 - Pink/Black Not Used
H3/9 - RED / Black - RED / White - +12 Volt Constant
H3/10 No Connection
H/1 1 - Red - Fused +12 Volt Constant
H/1 2 - Black - - Chassis Ground
H/1 3 - Brown - + Siren Output
H/1 4 - WHITE/ Brown - Not Used
H/1 5 - White - Parking Light - 2 relays
H/1 6 - Orange - Not Used
Nissan Patrols have no power central locking so you need to buy a central locking kit. This is put in drivers door only then connected to central locking brain then wire Viper door lock 3-pin connector to it.
( 24-Pin Harness )
10 - Grey - -Hood pin
13 - BLACK/ white - Neutral safety switch
Note ( all other wires have not been used )in 24-Pin Harness )
My only problem is when armed I can use key to unlock doors but this won't set off alarm.??? What am I doing wrong ???

I have put pin 15-Green from 24-pin harness to Blue Unlock output of 3-pin connector. Now this will trip alarm when drivers door opened but only because one central lock in drivers door not the rest no other doors will work. I understand that, and if I put central locking motors in all doors it would work ( lots of work ). If I were to connect the interior light to central locking brain ??? it should work as doors are all connected to interior light switch.
What do you guys think ???
